What type of finish is on my furniture?

All our products are finished with Odie’s.

Odie’s uses only the finest oils & waxes that evolved in nature to protect plants from the constant bombardment of the elements.

It bonds molecularly within the surface instead of sitting on top like traditional finishes, meaning no peeling, flaking, delaminating, chipping & cracks.

Odie’s Oil contains absolutely no toxic chemicals, solvents, catalysts, VOC’s, allergens, or hardeners.

Finishing that is safe for the whole family - gloves and masks are not needed, and it smells like a day at the spa…which is of course why we chose it!

How do I maintain the finish on my Woyote products?

Good news -  all products are made to invite elegance and ease both in design and care into your lives.

To maintain the finish and clean, you can use a damp cloth with a fast follow by a dry cloth. For extra special days, lightly dust with some natural furniture polish (like Pledge). 

Do note use abrasive scrub pads, kitchen and bathroom cleaning products, bleach, stain-removal markers, or non-aqueous solvents to clean the surface of your furniture, doing this you will risk damaging the finish.

I was having the best time! Until … I spilled something on my Woyote piece! Help!

But don't let the spill sit too long. Ensure to wipe it up immediately with a damp cloth to avoid any stains. Although our Odie’s finish seals your product and is resistant to spills, to preserve it would be best to wipe up as soon as you can and then continue having the best time!

Is a deposit required when ordering?

Yes. We require a deposit on custom orders to hold your spot in our queue, and to ensure commitment before we purchase any materials or start the work.

This is non-refundable.

I can’t wait to have my Woyote product! What are your lead times?

We want to get you your piece of Woyote furniture as quickly as possible without sacrificing the craftsmanship. 

As a made to order furniture company, there is a 4-8 week lead time subject to change pending on the time of year and supply.

Custom orders have variable lead times depending on their size and complexity.  Once your order is placed, via email we will do our best to give you an accurate date for delivery.

I ordered too many things! Is it possible to change or cancel an order after completing?

If you wish to make a change to your order, please get in touch with us directly at HELLO@WOYOTE.CA You can make a change or cancellation without any trouble within 5 days of purchase.

We do not offer cancellations or returns on custom products with custom dimensions, materials or finishes.

It’s my best friend’s birthday tomorrow and I need to get my Woyote piece for them asap - can I put a rush on it?

At this stage, being a made to order furniture company, we cannot rush orders.

But know the time spent is to ensure you have the best quality product we can produce. Additionally, as a part of our ordering processing, we will continue to keep you updated on the status and locked in delivery date.

Does Woyote deliver locally?

Yes! Woyote offers a delivery and assembly service within the GTA.

Delivery costs start at $100 CAD + HST and may vary for larger custom items.

For dining tables, the legs will arrive detached and we will assemble them on site for you as part of the delivery service.

This fee may be greater depending on the size of the order, the distance traveled, and the desired delivery time.

Yes!

How do I check the status of my shipment?

Following the Woyote standard process, we’ll send you an email once the order has been shipped.

From there you’l be able to track with said tracking number which  you can use to follow the progress of the shipment.

How do you determine shipping prices?

To give the most accurate estimate, we comunicate with a local company to find the best shipping rates to your destination.

Please note, rates will vary depending on your location, the objects/s you've purchased and the shipping service you've chosen.

I’m new to ordering furniture online - Where does my personal information go after ordering?

Your address is required to determine shipping costs; your email and phone number is used to get in touch if necessary; and your credit card information is used to process payment for the order.

As a company, we do not harvest personal information for purposes beyond order fulfillment.

We always offer the option for our customers to add your contact information to our mailing list for new updates and offers and will be given that opportunity to opt in at checkout.

What is your return policy?

Woyote will accept the return of objects that are in as-new condition and within 5 days of delivery to your home. If you wish to return an item, customers must pay for return shipping, as well as a 20% restocking fee.

If an item is returned broken or damaged the cost of repair (if a repair is possible) will be deducted from the refund. If a returned product is irreparable no refund will be given.

Can Woyote reach me over here in Vancouver, or across Canada for that matter?

Absolutely!  If you are purchasing larger items like tables, please contact us directly at HELLO@WOYOTE.CA  before purchasing for shipping and costs.

We do not offer shipping to the US at this time.

Do you ship internationally?

Not at this time.
